As a practicing graphic design professional and creative director for Hattaway Creative, Stan Hattaway takes a “brand-focused” approach in design—applying and refining clients’ brand message and helping clients secure and increase brand equity. Founded in 1979, Hattaway Creative remains engaged in provocative design and communications solutions for traditional and new media applications. Stan Hattaway is a formally-trained designer, a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, proficient in all aspects of graphic design for print, web, collateral, and large-format applications and signage. He has continuously sought and mastered new technologies, software, and medias. Hattaway Creative to serve a variety of clients in Scottsdale and the Phoenix metro as well as several Kansas City and Seattle-based companies.
Cathy Hattaway specializes in commercial real estate/hospitality and tourism industries with experience in research, development, advertising, copy writing, strategic collaborations, project management, media buying and ROI analysis. Her background includes: Director of Marketing at the Kansas City Convention and Visitors Bureau; Hotel Marketing Manager for Hallmark Cards (Hyatt and Westin flags), Marketing Director for Arizona Center/Phoenix and—most recently—Resorts Marketing Manager for a “boutique” portfolio of lodges, restaurants and retail shops managed by Forever Resorts (Concessioner), located in United States’ National Parks and Recreation Areas.
Stan and Cathy collaborate with illustrators, photographers, web programmers, A/V producers, script writers, printers, data base managers and researchers to enlist specific talents required to accomplish varied and wide-ranging goals. Stan and Cathy put together resources that are affordable and relevant to achieving client specific goals and objectives, while honoring timing and budget constraints, while continually communicating brand value to target audiences
